Summary
periAzhwAr composes the following pAsurams with amother's attitude. Having brought up his daughter
with love and affection, he intends to marry her
off to someone spending all his wealth. Alas,
his daughter has other plans. She is infatuated
with love for Krishna and doesn't mind leaving
her mother. The intense love for God is to be
regarded as true bakti.
